Families - We have several announcements for tomorrow, Friday, 2/24:

~ School will be on a two-hour delay.

~ Giraffe and Elephant buses will be on AM/PM snow routes.

~ The REACH Family Night is rescheduled to next Tuesday, 2/28/2023.

~ The Middle School Dance is rescheduled to next Friday, 3/3/2023.

Good Morning, Families - Due to snow and ice, there will be no school today, Thursday, February 23rd. Please have a safe day!

Families - Due to inclement weather, there will be no after school activities today, 2/22/2023. This includes REACH, sports practices, and the PreK New Year Concert. PreK teachers do hope to reschedule the concert once the weather improves. Have a safe evening!

Dear Families,
 
Please join us on February 1st in the Lyle Schools Gym for our New Year Concert! The K-5 classes will be performing music that they have been learning in 2023. The program will start at 6:00 PM, please arrive with students at 5:45 PM so everyone can settle in before the music starts. 

Students performing should be dressed in a way that is comfortable and presentable. Nobody needs to buy a new tuxedo suit, but I hope we will all dress up a little more than on a normal school day. Attire should be along the lines of what your child might wear at a wedding or their “Sunday best.”  

School concerts are the most exciting part of your child’s experience as a music student. When our students perform for an audience, they build self-confidence and demonstrate the skills they practice in the classroom. Every chance to perform is an important milestone in a musician’s life, including our Lyle students. I hope you will support all Lyle student-musicians in this endeavor! Families - On Friday, January 6th, all buses will be back on their normal routes. 

Lyle School District will begin the day tomorrow, Thursday, January 5, 2023 with a 2-hour delay and all buses on snow routes. Should there be any changes to this plan, we will let you know as soon as possible.
